Memories of a festive Winter at DaD (Virtual Living) in Secondlife.

During the festive season we were treated to an absolutely treat brought to us by DaD Virtual Living in Second Life ... a virtual hunt (Seek the Christmas Ball) was hosted on a most magical and enchanted region, a breathtakingly beautiful and immersive experience with the fun element of seeking the hidden ornaments that contained the most charming gifts.

Thank you so muchfor the team at DaD for the generosity and giving us this experience. I loved it so much and it's a little sad that it's gone for now, but hopefully this year we will be treated once more and in the meantime I kept some photo memories to look back on.

I hope you, too, enjoy looking back on a magical festive winter experience :)

Visiting 'Winter Daydreams' in Second Life

 ~ Winter Daydreams ~

A beautiful and tranquil Winter Destination ~ it was perfect for long walks through a gorgous glittering winter world ... time for reflection, relaxing with friends or exploring on your ice skates and enjoying being immersed and surrounded by a wintery wonderland, it was a truly magical experience.

Winterset Hollow in Second Life

My memories of a truly magical place in Secondlife ~ Winterset Hollow ~ 

Inspired by a vintage swedish winter village, brought to (second) life by the talented Tolla Crisp and Terry Fotherington. 

We were treated to an immersive and inspirational landscape, perfect for long walks and forgetting everything for a while and just 'being in the moment'.

There was a wonderful Ice Rink and Sled rides for the more avtive travellers, those in a more relaxed mode could take a Zip line going all the way up to a little snack-stop restaurant on an overlook platform with a stunning view over the landcape...walking for hours through the forests and fields, finding little dotted around homes and making friends with the many friendly animals finally returning to the cozy 'main street' with welcoming food establishments to warm your feet and your soul.

Absolutely beautiful!

Winterset Hollow is gone for now, hoping it will return once again next season x

Visiting Winter Wonderland at Bellisseria Fairground in Secondlife (2022)

Presented by Bellisseria Bike, Drive & Scoot for the occassion of their 4th annual Winter Wonderland Holiday Dance Party!

A tranquil winter wonderland with many photogenic spots, perfect to spend time relaxing and enjoying the frosy magic of winter ... with some lovely spots for ice skating and dancing, not forgetting the lovely Dance Party at the Winter Ballroom.

Happy Holidays to the creators team and well done for bringing a little more magic to SL. It was such fun!
