Visiting Winter Wonderland at Bellisseria Fairground in Secondlife (2022)

Presented by Bellisseria Bike, Drive & Scoot for the occassion of their 4th annual Winter Wonderland Holiday Dance Party!

A tranquil winter wonderland with many photogenic spots, perfect to spend time relaxing and enjoying the frosy magic of winter ... with some lovely spots for ice skating and dancing, not forgetting the lovely Dance Party at the Winter Ballroom.

Happy Holidays to the creators team and well done for bringing a little more magic to SL. It was such fun!

The Bellisseria Halloween Candy Bucket Hunt is back :)x

It's that spooky time of year again and the great Bellisseria Halloween Candy Bucket Hunt is back !

This amazingly fun hunt for Candy is held all across Bellisseria, where residents put out Pumpkin Candy Buckets and everybody, even if not a Bellisseria resident can collect candy ~ every participant who collects at least one piece of candy will receive a prize and top collectors will recieve limited edition collection bears.

Last year I made it into the top 100 and loved the bears I received, I shall give it my jolly best this year to aim higher...so if you see me running and zipping around...I will be on a mission :)

My memories of the annual 'fun in the sun' event build by the Bellisseria Hammies at the fairgrounds, with lots of fun avtivities for all ages and the Water-Flumes were absolutely amazing fun :)x

The 2nd Anniversary of the Bellisseria Bureau of Bureacracy

 Having had such a great time at the second anniversary of the Bellisseria Bureau of Bureacracy, I collected some of my memories and turned them into a 'musical photo-album'.

Everybody involved in bringing this to life really 'went the extra mile' and deserves quite few rounds of applause ~ Thank you to all ~ It was marvellous!

The BBB is two years old ! The second anniversary started off with an elegant ball ~ great music and great company and the opportunity to meet all the BBB Diplomats and the Ambassadors and lots of other Bellisserians (and, of course, non residents, too). The festivities will last more than a week, over 9 days ( 23rd. Jan.22 - 31st. Jan 22 ) there will be events, workshops, tours; including a Hot Air Balloon Tour and a Boat Rally and an interesting exhibition 'The Art of Travel' with works of some fine artists (gifts, too :) ... a Fireworks displays will start off the proceedings and see them out at the end.

The Meet and Greets are a wonderful way to meet the Diplomats and the Ambassadors ~ everybody is so so friendly, making you instantly welcome ... such is the beauty of the Belli community, such a lovely bunch of souls.

There are plenty of special passport stamps to collect as well, which will disappear after the event and the staff carry ssiDs to hand out special stamps ... a very special stamp is available at the entrance as well to commemorate the event.

Soooooo ... how's your Halloween going?

Having had such a lovely, spooky and busy Halloween this year ... taking part in the Bellisseria Candy Bucket Hunt I stumbled across the fabulously spooky Slenderman Gallery, he really !!! makes you work hard to find the hidden bucket, but you get to explore his place, visit the Gallery, get your Passport stamped as well and collect creepy cool prizes along the way ... oh and there is a Rollercoaster ride, too :)

Met a lot of lovely people and the costumes were just amazing :)

Halloween Decs are up ...

Oh my poor, poor Land Impact ... with so many gorgeous Halloween decs on offer I say 'To Hey' with my house furniture and go to town using just about my entire LI allowance :) Yay !

I'll be sleeping on the floor for the month in my 1LI sleeping bag ... but it's all worth it, every single Halloween prim, I welcome you all. x

A Sunset Walk around Bellisseria

A sunset in September, a gorgeous evening and a tranquil neighbourhood ... 

Taking a wee break from the 'messy-mess' of decorating; as exciting as it all is with trying out all the paints, colours, effects and ideas and even though the paint is virtually odour-less ;) ... I needed some air ... I walked for hours and discovered so, so much. I must have taken oodles of pictures, some of my favourites are compiled into a little Slideshow, it shows a few snapshots of the regions of Bellisseria ... but there is so much more to explore and it's worth every bit of shoe leather :)

Re-decorating :)

The re-decorating has begun ...the kitchen and living-room are being addressed as I write this. I somewhat like the colour of the base coat I put on in the kitchen, might just stick to that colour for the moment until I know what my new kitchen will look like. I was surprised that it only took one coat to cover the deep blue it was before ... that's the little luxuries you get when buying high quality paint ;) ... and now that I messed about trying other colours I will have to paint it again ... sigh ... I do like the yellow, though, for the living-room, so maybe the whole exercise wasn't a complete waste :)

I am so not looking forward to tidying this up ...

 ... oh is there a sale in town? *grabs purse and shopping bags*

Everything I needed to re-decorate came from Decor Junction and Anthony's Republic ... it's lovely if everything you need is under one roof (well, two :), saves trailing around town with heeps of shopping bags. ( One of the ladders by Six O'clock, Chair by DRD, Settee by Scarlet Creative )

The Movers have been ...

 Just came back from shopping, pleasantly surprised that the movers had been ... very tidy folks, need to keep them in mind for when I move next (not that I can see another move on the cards in the near-ish future ... well, I can ... but what am I even thinking - haven't even unpacked yet and already pondering of flitting ...)

Anyway, quickly relieving me of my shopping and taking a quick pic ... 

The inside is a neatly stacked as the patio and they have also put my kitchen together ... yikes, I didn't have the heart to say that I changed my mind on this one. But at least I can make a cuppa whilst pondering where on earth I am going to start. 

Especially since I have ordered my Lighting and my new Fireplace and I have this sinking feeling that there is going to be some building work needed to make the Fireplace fit ... it's not going back :)

Right, off I go and rummage through my boxes ... and think ... now where's the G & T ? :) ... oohh ... somebody left a wee pressie there as well.

Moving Day in Second Life ~ My new home

Moving back into Second Life ... oh I missed you ...

 Finally, after quite some years, I have moved back into the virtual loveliness of Second Life.  Of course, the promise of a shiny new home sped up my decision somewhat ... when I saw the range of new homes on Bellisseria, my heart was firmly set on 'The Shelley', a Victorian dwelling, but I had to go onto a list ... and wait ... and wait some more. An offering of a House-Boat, as lovely as it looked, was rejected, hoping that I did not just let my one chance pass. But no sooner than this fleeting thought passed by, I saw the listing I was waiting for and in a rather un-ladylike mild panic, I pounced!

And here it is on Moving Day.

There is a little Slideshow on my You Tube channel, showing a little of the neighbourhood, the walk approaching the house and a tour through the rooms and garden ... I took the shots on the day I moved in with all the boxes, knick-knacks and bags scattered about and my 80's throwback kitchen, which was cool back then but I really need to re-think this one, why I even brought it with me ... I could have saved the movers a fair bit of bother, it was quite awkward to get through the door ...

Anyway, the stress of moving is fading and my thoughts turn to decorating and gardening and, of course, exploring the neighbourhood ... and spending money ... lots of it! Yay !
